Kardiacs - Inspired by the 1979-80 Browns (the Kardiac Kids), the Kardiacs feature a special "Clutch Coin" mechanism that allows them to bank luck when they are losing. The result is the opportunity to recover from larger deficits and stage dramatic 4th quarter comebacks.

Minotaurs - Inspired by the 1990's Bills dynasty, the Minotaurs feature a No Huddle Offense that, once it gets going, steals free yardage on untimed downs. The strong Defense has effective pass coverage and great pressure on pass plays.

Privateers - Inspired by the Buccaneers of 2002, the Privateers offer an opportunistic "Tampa 2" defense that makes it easier to convert turnovers into touchdowns. Their Offense is deceptively dangerous at ball-control passing and clock management. This team is a deadly combination of balanced Offense and stout Defense.

Sharks - Inspired by the 1984 Dolphins, the Sharks feature elite receivers and a quick release quarterback. The Offense is a scoring machine that can extend normal plays into big yards without a breakaway. The Defense is average at best, but degrades throughout the game to become one of the most challenging units to utilize. The Sharks are at their best when they force turnovers on Defense and strike quickly on Offense.
